Organization
Shekinah Foundation is a registered, non-profit, non-commercial voluntary Organization dedicated to serve humanity without distinctions of religion, caste, creed or region, established in 1992 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Aims and Objectives
The main aims and objectives of the Organization are:
- To undertake rehabilitation, education, technological training, employment / Self-employment programmes for the persons with disabilities and the poor.
- To promote community based rehabilitation programmes for the empowerment of people with disabilities and developmental programmes for children, child labourers, orphans, widows, senior citizens, agricultural labourers and labourers in the unorganized sectors.
- To work for the promotion of Science & Technology, medical-health education, formal and non-formal education, agriculture, management studies, disaster management, rehabilitation, moral values. Indian art and Culture, communal harmony, national integration, international relations and world peace.
We are Registered Under:
- Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 F. In the year 1992
- Income Tax Act 1961.
- Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976
- Recognized by Govt. of India
